# About the Snippets category

Snippets has been set up for people to share custom code and configuration options for building features using the Aristotle API.

This could be:

- Reports built using the [Report Builder](https://help.aristotlemetadata.com/stewardship-tasks/metadata-report-builder)
- Custom fields using the [JSON Custom Fields](https://help.aristotlemetadata.com/administrator-tasks/custom-field-structured-data-json-type) editor
- GraphQL queries
- Home page or HTML modifications
- Or other cool features for extending functionality

While there is no set format, some recommendations are:

- **Problem** : What is the problem you are trying to solve
- **Feature** : Which feature in the Aristotle Metadata Registry or Tablion Data Portal are you using - potentially with a link to help documentation
- **Code samples** : How did you solve this?
