Latest Software Updates: Aristotle and Tablion Bug Fixes and Feature Enhancements – Released on the 8th of July

Hi Community!

We are delighted to announce the most recent releases of Aristotle and Tablion.

Below, we outline each product’s key fixes and enhancements:

Aristotle Updates:

Bug Fixes:

  1. Fixed a bug causing unexpected behaviour in the Metadata Merger Tool
  2. Fixed a bug causing merge previews to not display in the Metadata Merger Tool
  3. The ‘Summary Statistics’ section of the item editor will no longer appear if no summary statistics have been configured
  4. Fixed a bug causing data inventories to filter registration statuses incorrectly
  5. The ‘Physical Data Type’ column will now only appear on a distribution’s item page if it contains a value
  6. Fixed a bug causing data inventory card view to break when filtering
  7. Restored workgroup search bar functionality
  8. Fixed a bug causing the executive dashboard’s time filters to reflect inaccurately.

Tablion Updates:

Feature Enhancements:

  1. Administrators can now configure the default landing tab of the ‘Manage Data Requests’ page on a per-role basis via the ‘Configurations’ tab of their Admin tools
  2. Administrators can now configure the visibility of table columns in the ‘Manage Data Requests’ page on a per-role basis via the ‘Configurations’ tab of their Admin tools
  3. Navigation breadcrumbs have been added
  4. Downloadable data request documentation (e.g. correspondence) can now be configured to be downloadable directly from email notifications via the ‘Notifications’ Admin tool
  5. Data requests can now be searched for by their reference number
  6. All references to a data request’s ‘Rationale’ field have been replaced with reference to ‘Purpose’
  7. The advanced search’s status filters can now be synchronously selected or deselected via an ‘All’ checkbox
  8. Users can now save and re-use ‘Favourite Searches’ from the ‘Manage Data Requests’ page.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Removed the ‘Data request standard questions’ section from the data passport type editor
  2. Fixed a bug allowing data passport expiry dates to be set as negative integers
  3. Refined the default alignment of the text within the ‘Apply for Data’ button
  4. Added help text to the ‘Submitted date’ filter field in advanced search
  5. All references to data ‘projects’ have been replaced with reference to data ‘requests’.
