Importing a report

Feature: Using the report builder to generate user Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) details.

Note: The import function and the Metadata Report Builder both have similar capabilities. The intended advantage of the query export is that it allows users to share report queries with others.

Snippets:

  1. Navigate to the toolbox via your dashboard side panel.

  2. Select ‘Metadata Reports’.

  3. Select ‘Import Report’.

  4. Populate the ‘Query Parameters in JSON’ field with the query contained
    here. (252 Bytes)

  5. Select ‘Create Report Query’.

After this, your report should be ready with the correct model, columns and Stewardship Organisation!

This is great thankyou! Having that mfa_enabled field will make our lives much easier by making it easy to follow up with users who haven’t enabled mfa.

I was also able to make it work using the Report Builder (as per screenshot below). Is there a reason to use the approach described above rather than using the WYSIWYG Report Builder?

Regards,
Andrew

The reason we’ve provided the snippet is to make it easy for users on the community to upload into their own registry.

The import function and the WYSIWG editor both have the same capability - the advantage of the query export is that it allows people to share report queries with other users.

Hope that helps
