I’m testing different ways of entering information for Indicator Items and I’m running into some issues with bounding boxes when using tables in the description fields.
Text seems fine, but tables get cut off (please see below screenshot)
On a side note to this, I am testing using tables to record this information as the current functions only allow linkage to dataset items that exist within the registry, however some of the data used in the indicators are external datasets not owned by our organisation and as such will not have any registered item.
I tried to replicate the issue on my end, and it works fine for me. Could you share the item number and the registry where you’re encountering this error, so I can identify the issue?
If I create the same item in another Aristotle registry with the same content, it appears to be fine. The issue is with the custom styling added to the Metadata.NSW, which is causing the problem.
To fix it, you’ll need to reach out to the team that added the styling in Metadata.NSW. A quick fix is to go to the components tab. Navigate to the sections where you’ve added the tables. Click on “Source,” as highlighted below, and remove align="left" from the source code of all the tables, then save your changes. This is what’s causing the issue.
Regarding not being able to add dataset items that don’t exist in the registry in the computation functions, is this something that can be possibly looked at in future?
